Privacy Policy
How Spectrum Hub handles website information
Effective date: September 3, 2026
K2T, doing business as Spectrum Hub and Spectrum Hub ABA (“Spectrum Hub,” “we,” “us,” or “our”), respects the privacy of families and website visitors. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and protect personal information through websites we operate, including website forms, articles, and related online features (collectively, the “Site”).
This Privacy Policy applies to information collected through the Site and ordinary pre-service communications. It does not replace Spectrum Hub's Notice of Privacy Practices or other patient privacy documents when HIPAA or another health-privacy law applies.
1. Information we collect
Information you provide
We may collect information you choose to provide, including:
your first and last name;
phone number and email address;
whether the person you are contacting us about has received an autism diagnosis;
the content of messages, calls, voicemails, emails, or other communications;
information needed to respond to a request, discuss services, coordinate an appropriate next step, or comply with law; and
any other information you voluntarily provide.
Because Spectrum Hub serves children and families seeking autism-related services, information you provide may reveal or relate to health, disability, or a child's care. Please use the public contact form only for an initial inquiry and avoid detailed medical information unless we direct you to a secure method.
Information collected automatically
When you use the Site, Spectrum Hub and its website service providers may automatically collect technical and usage information such as:
Internet Protocol (IP) address and approximate location derived from it;
browser type, device type, operating system, language, and screen settings;
pages viewed, links selected, referring and exit pages, dates and times, and time spent on pages;
cookie identifiers and similar online identifiers; and
diagnostic, performance, security, and error information.
The Site is built and hosted using Wix. Wix and its supporting services may process this information to deliver, secure, troubleshoot, and improve the Site.
2. How we use information
We may use personal information to:
respond to inquiries and communicate with you;
help identify an appropriate next step, service, provider, or resource;
coordinate requested services and support continuity of care, where authorized and appropriate;
operate, maintain, secure, troubleshoot, and improve the Site;
understand general Site usage and effectiveness;
maintain business, compliance, and communication records;
protect the rights, safety, and security of individuals, Spectrum Hub, and others; and
comply with applicable law, licensing rules, legal process, and contractual obligations.
We will not use health-related information submitted through the Site for targeted advertising.
3. How we disclose information
We may disclose personal information only as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this Policy, including to:
website and technology service providers, including Wix and vendors that support hosting, forms, security, communications, performance, and error monitoring;
healthcare providers, care coordinators, affiliated professionals, or independent providers when you request or authorize the connection, or when disclosure is otherwise permitted by law;
professional advisers such as attorneys, accountants, auditors, insurers, and compliance consultants;
a successor or involved party in a proposed or completed merger, acquisition, financing, reorganization, or transfer of business assets, subject to appropriate protections; and
government agencies, regulators, courts, law enforcement, or other persons when required or permitted by law, or when reasonably necessary to protect rights, safety, and security.
We do not sell personal information for money. We do not sell or share health-related information for targeted advertising. If our practices change, we will update this Policy and provide any notice or choice required by law before applying the new practice.
4. Health information and HIPAA
Some information Spectrum Hub receives may become protected health information (“PHI”) under the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (“HIPAA”) or may be protected by other health-privacy laws. When HIPAA applies, PHI is handled under the applicable Notice of Privacy Practices, not solely under this Website Privacy Policy. If this Policy conflicts with the Notice of Privacy Practices about PHI, the Notice of Privacy Practices controls.
If HIPAA applies to Spectrum Hub's handling of your information, the applicable Notice of Privacy Practices will be posted separately on the Site. You may also request a paper or accessible copy using the contact information below.
Public-form caution: Do not use the public website form to send medical records, detailed treatment histories, photographs, insurance cards, payment-card data, Social Security numbers, or other highly sensitive information. Call us so we can direct you to an appropriate secure method.
5. Cookies and similar technologies
The Site and Wix may use cookies and similar technologies that are necessary to operate and secure the Site, remember settings, manage forms, measure performance, and understand general usage. Your browser may allow you to block or delete cookies, but some Site features may not work as intended if you do.
If Spectrum Hub later adds nonessential analytics, advertising, retargeting, session-replay, or similar tools, we will update this Policy and use a consent or preference mechanism when required by law.
6. Maps, links, and third-party services
The Site contains links to third-party services, including Google Maps and Apple Maps. When you select a third-party link, the third party may receive information such as your IP address, device information, and the page or destination you requested. The third party's privacy policy—not this Policy—governs its collection and use.
7. Communications
If you provide contact information, we may call, email, or text you to respond to your inquiry and discuss requested services. Message and data rates may apply. You may ask us to stop nonessential communications. For marketing email, use the unsubscribe method provided. For marketing texts, reply STOP or follow the stated opt-out instructions. We may still send communications required for care, safety, transactions, or law where permitted.
8. Data retention
We retain personal information only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this Policy, including responding to inquiries, providing or coordinating services, maintaining appropriate records, resolving disputes, enforcing agreements, and meeting legal, clinical, insurance, or compliance obligations. Retention periods vary based on the type and sensitivity of information and applicable requirements.
9. Security
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards appropriate to the nature of the information we handle. No website, internet transmission, email, text message, or storage system can be guaranteed completely secure. If you believe information may have been compromised, contact us promptly.
10. Your choices and privacy rights
You may:
choose not to provide optional information, although we may be unable to respond fully without basic contact information;
adjust cookie controls through your browser and any preference tools the Site makes available;
ask to stop nonessential or marketing communications; and
request access to, correction of, deletion of, or a copy of personal information, or ask questions about our practices.
Depending on where you live and which laws apply, you may have additional rights, including rights to access, delete, or obtain a portable copy of personal data and to opt out of certain sales or targeted advertising. Spectrum Hub will review verified requests and respond as required by applicable law. We may need information to verify your identity and authority, particularly when a request concerns a child or patient record.
These website privacy rights are separate from rights that may apply to PHI or medical records under HIPAA and other law. To exercise a right or appeal a privacy decision where applicable, contact us using the information below. We will not unlawfully discriminate against you for exercising a privacy right.
11. Children's privacy
The Site is intended for parents, guardians, caregivers, and adults seeking information about services. It is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly ask children under 13 to submit personal information directly through the Site. Parents or guardians may provide information about a child when seeking services. If you believe a child submitted information directly without appropriate permission, contact us so we can review and address it.
12. Processing in the United States
Spectrum Hub is based in Utah, and information may be processed and stored in the United States by Spectrum Hub and its service providers. If you access the Site from another country, privacy laws and protections may differ from those in your location.
13. Changes to this Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy as our Site, services, vendors, or legal obligations change. The effective date at the top identifies the current version. Material changes will be communicated as required by law.
